About Eric Pierre

Eric is the founder, CEO, owner, and principal of Pierre Accounting, bringing over two decades of expertise in accounting, tax, finance, and auditing. Since 2003, he has honed his skills in advanced tax strategies, financial planning and analysis, mergers and acquisitions, real estate, and forensic auditing. Before establishing Pierre Accounting in 2015, Eric gained valuable corporate experience with Fortune 500 companies such as Deloitte & Touche, McDermott, Abbott Laboratories, and Team Industrial Services. His global assignments spanned Asia, Africa, Europe, Latin America, and the Caribbean, with a focus on industries like energy, power, EPC, and pharmaceuticals. This diverse exposure not only broadened his professional acumen but also shaped his inclusive leadership approach at Pierre Accounting.

Eric holds a Master of Professional Accountancy and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accountancy, both earned with honors from Stephen F. Austin State University. He became a Certified Public Accountant in Texas in 2006 and later earned licensure in California in 2017. As a second-generation CPA, Eric proudly upholds the legacy of his Haitian heritage and his father, who was a CPA in New York. Outside of his professional pursuits, Eric is passionate about mentoring youth through partnerships with organizations like Jail to Jobs in Austin and Cielo Sports in San Diego. A former professional basketball player for the San Diego Guardians, he also avidly follows the sport while dedicating his time to his family and his team at Pierre Accounting.
